Bridgeview Special School offers a place for children with special needs to flourish, with their needs at the heart of everything we do. The whole team collaborates around the needs of the child, working with families, SEN experts and outside agencies.
Respect Kindness Success
Pupils are encouraged to respect others and their environment, show kindness to all and celebrate every success no matter how small.
Our aims –
Together as SEN experts we will:
Understand and use each child’s EHCP to remove barriers to learning so all children have access to the curriculum they deserve
Provide chances for children to discover and explore their interests, identity and potential with an enriched curriculum
Equip children with emotional literacy, practising the skills needed to understand and manage their feelings
Prepare children for later life – developing independence, healthy minds and healthy lifestyles by encouraging physical activity
Remove the ceiling on expectations in academic achievement for pupils with SEMH needs by inspiring each child to be the best version of themselves
